The Code Goes On

When you have a full-time job and bills to pay, things easily get pushed aside. Coding is one of those things, unfortunately, but when you know you want coding to be your job, you quickly reassess your time and make room for it. Sure, it means your free time is now booked and you are looking at a computer screen twice as much now, but you can't ignore "it."

The funny thing about doing something new is that you have a window of time where the newness of it is awesome! You can just bask in how awesome this new thing is and that is all you have to think about. I realize now that in setting up a blog that is open for anyone to read, it quickly becomes "un-new" and I can't just let it sit and stay like it first was.

Today, I begin my adventures into my first personal coding project! About 6 months ago, I began to dabble in this "stuff" I had heard about....Javascript...HTML5...CSS. I heard about the Hour of Code and tried that out and thought, "Hey, this seems fun! Let me learn a little more."
